Scaling and polishing/professional cleaning
Scaling is a dental process that involves removing the calculus deposits or stains on the teeth. It can be likened to scraping peeling paint on the wall.

Polishing, on the other hand, is the process of smoothing the teeth as scaling can make the teeth feel rough. During this time, the dentist may also provide additional protection to the teeth by applying a small amount of fluoride.

Deep Cleaning
Sometimes scaling and polishing is not enough especially if there is calculus under the gum it is now that the dentist may suggest deep scaling. This usually involves numbing the gums and cleaning under the gums

Fillings
Dental fillings are used to replace tooth structure that would have been destroyed by caries and or trauma. Dr Madondo only uses composites, compomers and Glass ionomer cements that do not contain mercury.

Extractions

Crowns/caps
A crown, sometimes known as a dental cap, is a type of dental restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant. Crowns are often needed when a large cavity threatens the ongoing health of a tooth. They are typically bonded to the tooth using dental cement. Crowns can be made from many materials, usually fabricated using indirect methods

Dental bridges
A bridge is a fixed dental restoration (a fixed dental prosthesis) used to replace one or more missing teeth, by joining an artificial tooth definitively to adjacent teeth or dental implants.

Dental implants
A dental implant, also known as an endosseous implant or fixture, is a surgical component that interfaces with the bone of the jaw or skull to support a dental prosthesis such as a crown, bridge, denture, facial prosthesis or to act as an orthodontic anchor.

Inlays/Onlays

Inlays and Onlays are a form of indirect restoration. This means they are made outside of the mouth as a single, solid piece, that fits the specific size and shape of the cavity. The restoration is then cemented orally in place. This is an alternative to a direct restoration, made out of composite, amalgam or glass ionomer, built up
within the mouth.

Dentures
Dentures are replacements for missing teeth that can be taken out and put back into your mouth. While dentures take some getting used to, and will never feel the same as one’s natural teeth, today’s dentures are natural-looking and more comfortable than ever.

Braces
Dental braces (also known as braces, orthodontic cases, or cases) are devices used in orthodontics that align and straighten teeth and help position them concerning a person’s bite, while also aiming to improve dental health. Braces also fix gaps

Teeth whitening
The process of tooth whitening lightens the colour of a tooth. Tooth whitening can be achieved by either changing the intrinsic colour or by removing and controlling the formation of extrinsic stains.

Veneers
In dentistry, a veneer is a layer of material placed over a tooth, veneers improve the aesthetics of a smile and/or protect the tooth’s surface from damage.
